A few images of last weekends winter warmer race at Fulbeck.
As this was a non Championship round we had decided to focus on testing some new setups ready for the season ahead. Saturday was great with the kart being constantly the fastest during each session. Come race day sadly we got the tyre call wrong, opting to run used tyres rather than the new ones as most of the field ran as the temperature was around zero all day. With a new tyre rule for 2024 which sees us having to make each set of tyres last two meetings so we thought it useful to gain plenty of track time on the well used rubber to hopefully give us an advantage come round two of the season. This left is a few tenths off the pace throughout the day. Our best race of the day did see Woody leading for the first half of the race but a snapped chain lead to a DNF which then put us at the back of the grids for the final.
We left with plenty of positives and a new chassis on the way leaves us quietly confident for a successful season to come.
