Our arrivals this week focus mainly on Porsche, with a lovely collection of 1/43 scale models from the 80's onwards.
The pick of the bunch for us is the iconic Pink Pig Porsche replica as raced at the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours race. This retro paint job looks so nice on the modern GT3 car. Also new in store are the two Porsche 911 GT3 cars from the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours race with the gold stripe rather than the usual red one. All of the models are produced by IXO Models and have fantastic attention to detail.
Going back a little further in time is another Porsche classic with re stocks of the mighty Porsche 956K Sports Car. This is the model that celebrates the lap record set by Stefan Bellof back in 1983 and comes in a special edition box.
Another classic from even further back, is the Gulf GT40 with re stocks of the 1966 Le Mans 24 Hours car that was driven by Miles & Hulme to 2nd place in the race. This model also comes in a special Gulf presentation box and really looks great on display.
From the world of Rally we now have the Porsche 924 Carrera GTS car that Jacky Ickx drove in 1982. This model comes with full Gitanes livery and shows just what a versatile driver Ickx was.
Also back in stock we have one of our favourite rally cars of all time, being the CMR version of the mighty Audi Quattro Sport E2 car. This is the version that Walter Rohrl drove in the 1986 Monte Carlo Rally and comes with the bank of additional front headlights.
